Being a wedding filmmaker I find of great enjoynment the opportunity to capture love in distant, inspiring places. Each new town I get to make my home for a couple of shooting days, enriches me with fresh enthusiasm and in return I give back my thanks by humbly treating it with respect in all my films. For that same reason, being in a position of filming in the exact same location on multiple occasions can be rather challenging. You can try to find new angles, hunt for some undiscovered light, or portray it through somewhat different pace, but your safest bet is to always rely on the couple and make them truly the centerpiece of your filmmaking inspiration. That’s why I try to understand the couple I’m filming, get beside the suit, the dress and makeup, and figure out what’s underneath, who they are as human beings. If you can recognize these nuances, and give your best to capture them with a camera, they will reward you and come out as true and genuine cinematic magic. Here is the story of such two warm hearts. You can tell they belong together and that they’re gonna have a great life together.
